Many roads and walkways remained wet overnight after yesterday's snow, and with temperatures falling to at or below freezing, patchy black ice is likely, especially on untreated surfaces, warns the weather service.

A total of 3.1 inches of snow was recorded in Armonk, 3.8 inches in Somers, 4 inches in Shrub Oak and 4.2 inches in Hartsdale.

There is a chance of snow showers before noon Thursday. The rest of the day will be most cloudy with a high around 36.

Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30s.
