YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Area residents can learn about saving energy and money at a free forum being hosted by District 9 County Legislator Catherine Borgia on Thursday, May 17.
The "Roadmap To Energy Efficiency" event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cortlandt Town Center C.U.E at 3131 East Main Street in Mohegan Lake and refreshments will be available.
Area residents can get info on free home energy assessments, learn about solar energy options and get 20 tips on what they can do to start save energy immediately.
Guest speakers for the event include Tom Bregman, director of EnergizeNY, Lee Streisfeld-Leitner of Advanced Energy Resources, a representative from Con Edison who will provide energy saving tips and panel moderator Seth Leitman, an energy consultant and author.
