LAKE CARMEL, N.Y. – A house along Lake Carmel in Kent suffered heavy damage due to a fire Friday night, LoHud.com reported.

The residence at 14 Little Fill Court sustained damage to the roof and attic, according to the report by LoHud.com.

The Lake Carmel Fire Department enlisted help from the fire departments of Carmel, Brewster and Kent to bring the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, according to LoHud.com.

The family in the home was able to escape with no injuries reported, noted LoHud.com.
