Allan Slavin, 37, had been looking for his girlfriend, Jamie Sniffen, 28, who was at Lawrence Graff’s residence at 1184 Oregon Road, according to the police report.
State Police received a 911 call from the 45-year-old Graff at 5:20 a.m. When police arrived, Graff told responding troopers that Slavin had stabbed him in the stomach and left the scene, according to the report.
Slavin was originally attacked by Graff’s pitbull after being let in by Graff and the two got into a fight, which involved a kitchen knife and a pellet gun — both of which were already in Graff’s apartment, the report said.
Slavin, who was stabbed in his right arm, left the residence and threw the pellet gun into nearby woods, the report said.
Sniffen stayed at Graff’s residence and attempted to clean up the blood with bleach, a mop and a towel before Slavin came back for her, the report said. The couple then went back to their residence in Mohegan Lake, where they were found by police.
Graff was eventually transported to the Westchester Medical Center where he underwent surgery and is listed in good condition.
Slavin, was then transported to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center for the stab wound on his right arm. He was charged with second-degree assault, a felony. Sniffen was charged with hindering prosecution, a third-degree misdemeanor.
Both are currently awaiting arraignment in the Cortlandt Town Court.
