County's Mobile Passport Office Coming to Yorktown

Westchester County Clerk Tim Idoni's mobile office will be stopping Thursday at Yorktown Town Hall.

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Westchester County residents in need of a passport or other services can visit Yorktown Town Hall Thursday where County Clerk Tim Idoni's mobile office will make a stop.

The mobile office will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can apply for a passport, including having their photos taken on the spot. Proof of identity and proof of U.S. citizenship are required.

Fees to file for adults are $135; $105 for children under 16. Photos taken by staff are $10 each. Expedited service costs an additional $60.

Also available is the limited use passport card, which is half the cost of a regular U.S. passport. While the card affords many of the rights and privileges of a traditional passport, it is intended as a limited use travel document, valid only for land and sea travel between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
