A Bronx man, Daniel Vargas, 29, was charged with a felony after breaking into a CubeSmart storage facility and stealing multiple items, Yorktown police said.

A 43-year-old man was hit by a Metro-North train and killed just south of the Hartsdale train station Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide, according to Metro-North Railroad spokeswoman Marjorie Anders.

Police are searching tonight for a suspect who may be armed and who fled on foot after he struck a police car following a chase near the Westchester County Airport.
