YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Yorktown last week:
- New York State Police charged a Yorktown man with driving while intoxicated after reportedly observing him driving at 95 mph in a 55 mph zone in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, Nov. 23, according to officials.
- Kevin Olsen, a 29-year-old Peekskill resident, was charged with petit larceny by Yorktown Police after he was accused of attempting to flee a Sears store without paying for merchandise, according to police.
- The mix of rain, sleet, slush and snow in Westchester County on Wednesday resulted in numerous accidents throughout the day.
- Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino and members of the Junior League of Central Westchester cut the ribbon to officially open the Westchester County Diaper Bank.
