Enforcement on State Roads Results In 57 Tickets

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A detail on Route 6 and Route 9 led to State Police issuing tickets to 57 motorists at the end of last week.

On Feb. 10 police conducted a traffic enforcement detail on both state highways issuing tickets for a range of violations including speeding and unsafe lane changes.

According to the announcement of the tickets, police said they will continue to conduct the type of enforcement done Friday in an effort to "make these heavily traveled roads safe for the motoring public."
