The forum featured a group of experts in drug addiction and parents who have lost their children to drug addiction. One of those experts, John Slotwinski, director of clinical services at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, said drugs, particularly opioid painkillers like heroin, are attractive to young people dealing with the stress of growing up, lohud.com said.
