Mohegan Lake Girl Survives Jump From Bear Mountain Bridge

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A 16-year-old Mohegan Lake girl jumped from the Bear Mountain Bridge on Tuesday and survived the fall, according to LoHud.com.

A Westchester police marine unit was in the water at the time aiding a West Point boat that was taking on water. Authorities said the girl was alive when she was pulled from the water and transported to the hospital, LoHud.com reported.
