YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Haldane School District teacher who was already facing harassment charges against a Yorktown father is now being accused of sending threatening texts to a 14-year-old student, according to LoHud.com .
Christine E. Comerford, 43, of Yorktown, was charged with the new count of second-degree harassment while she was in court on Nov. 7 for the first charge that was filed in August, LoHud.com said.
Comerford was accused of sending threatening texts to the student in March and April and her parents reported it to local authorities in September, according to LoHud.com.
Comerford has been prohibited by the court from making contact with the student. She is due back in court on Dec. 12, LoHud.com said.
