Hundreds Still Without Power In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Hundreds of customers were still without power in Yorktown Wednesday morning after strong, gusty winds moved through the area.

As of 8 a.m., Con Edison reported 174 had no electricity. The utility estimated that most, if not all customers, would have power restored by 11 p.m. Wednesday.

New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) reported that 97 of its Yorktown customers were without power. The utility does not give an estimated time for restoration.
