YORKTOWN, N.Y.A 19-year-old teen from Lake Carmel was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he collided with another vehicle, police said.
Yorktown Police responded to a call on October 20 at 11:05 p.m. of disorderly persons in the roadway on Garth Court. Police investigation found that the teen, James M. Franczak operated a 1997 Subaru in an intoxicated condition, collided with another vehicle on Garth Court and was operating the vehicle, which was not registered or inspected.
Franczak was arrested and issued traffic summons for the charges, and released on $100 bail.
He is scheduled to answer the charge in Yorktown Court on November 22 at 6 p.m.
