Lawsuit Against Yorktown, Former Supervisor Dismissed

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - A lawsuit filed against the Town of Yorktown and former Town Supervisor Susan Siegel by two town employees was dismissed this week by a Westchester Supreme Court judge.

Judge William J. Giacomo ruled in favor of the defendants' motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaints.

Eric DiBartolo, highway superintendent, and Patricia Cole, a longtime highway department employee, were suing the town and Siegel personally claiming Siegel made defamatory statements against them.

According to the lawsuit, According to the complaint, Siegel told Dennis Verboys, director of facilities at Yorktown Central School District, that DiBartolo and Cole were involved in a sexual relationship, which the lawsuit claimed was a false statement.
