"Little Shop of Horrors" to Horrify Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- The famous musical “Little Shop of Horrors” will entertain audiences at Yorktown Stage this weekend and next.

The musical, directed by Pia Haas, with musical direction from Chloe Sasson and choreographed by Dorina DiLullo, will feature the well known numbers of “Suddenly Seymour,” “Somewhere That’s Green,” and of course—“Little Shop of Horrors.”

The character Seymour Krelborn is played by Anthony Malchar, while his love-interest is Audrey played by Amanda Donaldson. Producer, Barry Liebman will play the part of the florist shop owner, Mr. Mushnik, and the plant will be brought to life by Bill Diamond, the puppeteer and designer, while Peter McClung will sing the part of the famous voice of the personified plant.

Other characters include Michael Lichtstein as Audrey's dentist boyfriend, while Heather Abrado, Aliyah Hakim and Jocelyn Jones will be the Ronnettes, referred to as “a skid row Greek chorus of sorts.”

Set Design by Peter Petrino, Lighting Design by Andrew Gmoser, Sound Design by Vinny Butler.Costumes by Anne Nisenholtz, Stage Management by Julia Ryan and Properties by Victor Lukas. Puppets built and operated by Bill Diamond Productions.

Tickets are $26 for adults; $24 for Yorktown residents; $21 for Seniors (62 and up) and students (12-22); and $19 for children under 12.
