Police said an officer observed a vehicle speeding on Granite Springs Road about 2:45 a.m. A vehicle stop was conducted and an investigation took place, police said. At the conclusion of the investigation, Shkreli was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
Shkreli later submitted a breath test that determined his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent or more, police said. This led to an additional charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Shkreli was processed and released to a friend on $100 bail. He is scheduled to appeared in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 6 p.m. for arraignment.
