A Yorktown man was arrested after a minor traffic accident in a parking lot on East Main Street revealed that he had his license suspended nine times for a variety of other offenses.
Shqiprim Tetaj, 21, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and unlicensed operation, a traffic infraction. According to police, he had suspended driving privileges and was unlicensed at the time of the accident on June 30.
He was arrested and processed at the Yorktown police Department and was released on $350 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court August 2.
