Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino's office announced that a trio of pygmy goats was recently born at the farm.

"The newborns, also known as “kid” goats, are a miniature breed of domestic goats that can weigh between 55-85 pounds," the county executive's office noted. "Pygmy goats are known to have a good temperament and friendly personalities, which makes them very popular at petting zoos and farms."

In the announcement, Astorino also urged residents to visit the farm, which was officially renamed the Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm last fall in honor of the former county executive.

“As the spring weather approaches, I encourage everyone to visit Westchester’s various farms and parks, where there is something for the entire family to enjoy,” Astorino said.
