YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Musical acts are still being sought for the Spring Fest Battle of the Bands on Friday night at the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center field gazebo.
Students in grades nine to 12 in bands consisting of at least 50 percent members who attend either Yorktown or Lakeland High schools are eligible to participate in the free event, which runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
Bands will battle for prizes. Food will also be available throughout the evening for spectators.
