North County Trailway In Yorktown Closed Through Friday

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A section of the North County Trailway running near Travelers Rest in Yorktown is set to be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Westchester County Parks representatives said portions of the North County Trailway running through Yorktown will be closed until Friday.

The Westchester County Parks Department announced that the closure is to allow workers to continue tree maintenance in the area. The section set to be closed is about two miles long between Route 134 and Route 100, according to a press release. Trail users are reminded that the section of the trail between Route 118 and Birdsall Drive, Yorktown, remains closed until further notice due to a hazardous condition, according to the release.

The North County Trailway is a Westchester County Park.
