Paganelli, Bianco Lead Both Yorktown Primaries

YORKTOWN, N.Y.—Write-in ballots have not yet been counted, but with 88 percent of the districts reporting it appears that Dave Paganelli and Nick Bianco are the Republican and Conservative Party candidates for November’s town council election.

As of Wednesday morning at 1 a.m., Paganelli secured the most votes among the Republican Party candidates  with 976, or 42 percent of the votes. Bianco had 756 or 32 percent, while Tom DeChiaro secured 612, or 26 percent of the votes. 

For the Conservative Party line, Bianco led with 57 percent  to Paganelli's 43 percent.

According to the Board of Elections, 38 of the 43 districts have reported, but no write-ins have yet been counted. Both DeChiaro, and Ed Ciffone were Conservative Party write-in candidates on the ballot.
