Planning Board Discussing Proposal To Demolish Murphy's

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Planning Department will mull over a proposal that would result in the closure and demolition of Murphy's Irish Bar and Grill, according to the Yorktown News.

The restaurant would be replaced with a 40,000-square foot retail and office building under the proposal, which would also include additional development surrounding the Grace Building and the Coldwell Banker building on Underhill Avenue, the Yorktown News said. 

The Planning Department will discuss the proposal on Monday during a work session that will not be televised.
