MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. Douglas Kennedy, broadcaster for Fox News and son of the late Robert Kennedy, allegedly got into an altercation with Northern Westchester Hospital staff earlier this year, and was charged with child endangerment after fighting with nurses before trying to leave the hospital with his newborn baby boy, according to reports by WNBC New York and the New York Daily News.
According to the Daily News, the 44-year-old Kennedy is alleged to have twisted the wrist of one of the nurses and kicked another in the groin when they got in his way at Northern Westchester Hospital on Jan. 7.
Dr. Timothy Haydock, a doctor at the hospital and has been reported to be a friend of the Kennedy family, was present during the altercation and said the broadcaster did nothing wrong.
I witnessed the incident and I can state unequivocally that the nurses were the only aggressors, Haydock was quoted saying in the Daily News.
Anna Lane and Cari Luciano of the hospitals maternity ward have acquired personal injury lawyers, the newspaper claimed.
