Rivertown Runners Raise $30,000 For Sleepy Hollow Non-Profits

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Rivertown Runners raised $30,000 for Sleepy Hollow non-profits through their half marathon last month. These funds will go back into the community through grants and scholarships.

Laura Murray, marketing director of the Rivertown Runners, along with president Todd Ruppel, presented a check to the local nonprofits at last night’s Sleepy Hollow Village Board Meeting. 

Recipients of the monies raised include RSHM Life Center, Kids Club, Neighborhood House, Tarrytown Food Pantry, Ossining Food Pantry, Make a Wish Westchester, Warner Library, Friends of the Rockefeller Preserve, Friends of the OCA, BoyScouts Troop 22, Girl Scouts, SH Sports Camp, SH Volunteer Fire Dept, SH Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Owen Kelly Scholarship Fund and Two Scholar Track Athlete Scholarships.
