Santa Set to Sleigh to Yorktown for Breakfast

YORKTOWN, N.Y.—Santa may be more of a dessert man who devours milk and cookies, but the Yorktown Lions and American Legion have invited St. Nick to enjoy a holiday breakfast before he starts the sleigh.

At three different times on Sunday, Dec. 18 The Yorktown Lions Club and the American Legion Post 1009 will host their first annual Breakfast with Santa at the American Legion Post at 235 Veterans Rd.

The event will feature a breakfast buffet and visiting from the North Pole will be Santa himself, Mrs. Claus and Frosty. There will also be face painting and photo opportunities with the visitors from up North.

Tickets are all being sold in advance, and cannot be purchased at the event itself. To purchase tickets contact Maria Marks at or 914-962-9390.

The breakfast will feature three seatings the first of which begins at 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.; the second begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs until noon, and the third runs from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tickets cost $6 per child and $8 per adult—children under three can attend for free but still require a ticket. All children have to attend the event with one parent or a responsible adult.
