YORKTOWN, N.Y.Two people were injured in a single car accident Thursday night. The Lake Mohegan Fire Department responded to the crash, which took place on East Main Street right before the road splits into East Main and Old Yorktown Road.
Fire Chief Brian Wolert said two individuals had been taken to Hudson Valley Hospital after the accident by Mohegan ambulance and were in pretty good condition. He was not sure of the cause for the accident.
Wolert said no extraction of the victims was necessary to get them out of the silver Mercedes.
