- This Saturday is Passport Day. Westchester Residents can visit the Westchester County Clerk's mobile office at 110 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in White Plains from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit its website here , or call 914-995-3086.
- Hilltop Hanover Farm is just the place to be Saturday if you want to learn Beekeeping 101. From 2-4 p.m., those interested can learn from experts on getting bees in your own backyard. The fee is $20 per person and registration is required here .
- The John C. Hart Memorial Library will host Open Hart Poetry this Saturday, including a workshop and reading by Cami Zini and Catherine Wald. The workshop is from 10-11:30 a.m. followed by a poetry reading and discussion from noon to 1 p.m. The program is free, but registration is required at the reference desk or by calling 914-245-5262 ext. 227.
- Sunday from 3-6 p.m. residents can learn how to save a life, at the second "Save a Life" event and workshops. The event, which will take place at Yorktown Stage and community center, will teach both adults and teens how to become a first responder and become a resource to their friends and community.
