All of you need to learn how to read. The first paragraph says "..underage drinking detail in Cortlandt, Buchanan and Yorktown". So establishments in those 3 areas were targeted. It then goes on to say what the 2 establishments that DID sell to minors were. It then lists all the others establishments that DID NOT sell to minors - which includes the Hess Mart at 3911 Crompond Road, Yorktown.

@ Ilivehere: The story post headline " Two Establishments Charged In Cortlandt, Yorktown Underage Drinking Detail" . { It then goes on to say what the 2 establishments that DID sell to minors were} I do know how to read and that is what I was expecting to read, a Yorktown establishment that was charged with selling alcohol to minors. That is not what the article article reported.

Soren Kirkus:

Hey Joe, you really kinda need to fine-tune this "hyperlocal news" thing a little... Cortlandt is *near* Yorktown, but Cortlandt is *not* Yorktown. See how that works?

Ropeman:

Yorktown? Really? Where? What store? What bar in Yorktown? We have our own police department and they do an excellent job, we don't need the state police and we don't need you in accurately naming our town. APOLOGIZE.

Francis T McVetty:

Mr. Jenkins, Where was the store in Yorktown that sold alcohol to an underage person? Is Cortlandt now part of Yorktown? I think that you need to publish a correction, an an apology to us here in Yorktown!
