YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Yorktown residents have an opportunity to enjoy free outdoor music in their hometown or in nearby Peekskill this weekend.
Friday, Aug. 9
- Festa Italiana: 5 to 11 p.m. Also Saturday. Noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday. Noon to 9 p.m. Brown St., Peekskill. Third annual Italian Festival with food, fun and entertainment, including Italian music.
Saturday, Aug. 10
- Animals Incognito: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Teatown Lake Reservation. Come meet some of Teatown's most elusive creatures. Free members, $5 non-members.
- Fresh Veggies: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hilltop Hanover Farm. Pick your own fresh vegetables or visit the farm stand.
Sunday, Aug. 11
- Free Concert: 6 p.m. Jack Devito Gazebo and Field, Veterans Road. Summer concerts series continues with Alter Ego. Rain location is Yorktown Stage. Sponsored by Yorktown Lions Club and Yorktown Parks and Recreation Dept.
