Yorktown Board Members to Dance for Cancer Society

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Three members of the Yorktown Town Board will be buckling up their dance shoes for a good cause Friday night.

Supervisor Michael Grace and council members Terrence Murphy and Dave Paganelli will be among the nine local competitors teamed up with dance professionals in a Dancing with the Stars fundraiser for the American Cancer Society at Sinapi's Ceola Manor in Jefferson Valley.

Also taking part in the event, which is hosted by the Bunco Babes/Class Action Relay for Life team, is Yorktown Police Officer Rich Finn, Mohansic Elementary School Principal Susan Berry, former Yorktown Town Clerk and realtor Geri Schwalb, Yorktown Athletic Club President Rich Campanaro, Yorktown Leo Club advisor Al Avitabile and teacher Mary Froats.

More than 400 people are expected to attend the fun-filled evening. No tickets will be sold at the door.
