Yorktown Couple Allegedly Served Underage People

Update April 19, 2012:  All charges filed against Bernadette Ocampos-Romero and Arnaldo Ocampus-Romero were dropped by Yorktown Justice Salvatore Lagonia on December 13, 2011.

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown couple were arrested after they allegedly allowed alcoholic beverages to be given to and consumed by several underage people while at their home.

The defendants, Arnaldo and Bernadette Ocampos-Romero, 39 and 46, respectively, were charged on July 16 with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree, a misdemeanor.

Police reportedly responded to the residence at 1646 Strawberry Road after a report of a domestic incident, and subsequent to their findings placed the two under arrest.

Arnaldo was also arrested for two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly walked around his home naked, exposing himself to a juvenile, and supposedly solicited the same juvenile to smoke marijuana.

According to police, both individuals were arrested at the scene and processed at Yorktown Police Headquarters. They were released without bail and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 26 at 6 p.m.
