YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- A 24-year-old Yorktown resident was arrested after he allegedly threw a glass bowl at a family member, causing them physically injury.
Julian Lugo, 24, of Glenwood Road allegedly threw the bowl at the individual at a Glenwood Road residence and then left the residence Sunday. Lugo returned home and was placed under arrest for the felony charge of assault at 9:48 p.m. the same night and was taken to police headquarters. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

- An 84-year-old man from Mahopac was arrested for petit larceny after stealing $134.28 worth of groceries. Police said Rudolph Guarracino, stole from DeCicccos Market on August 14 at about 2:20 p.m. He was released on $100 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on September 15 at 6 p.m.
- Alana Franciosa, 49, was arrested last Friday for criminal contempt, a misdemeanor after she allegedly violated a Peekskill City Court order, demanding she stay away from an individual. She was taken to police headquarters and released on her own recognizance.
- 81-year-old Serafina Dipiazza, of Mohegan Lake was arrested for assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Police report that DiPiazza caused physical injury, laceration and bruising to a 96-year-old family member after she pushed the victim, causing her to fall and hit her head on a piece of furniture. DiPiazza was arrested, and taken to the Yorktown Police Department, where she was released on her own recognizance.
