YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- A Yorktown man was arrested last Thursday for charges of sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday.
It is alleged that 20-year-old Walton C. Gamory, of 3591 Strang Blvd., had sex with a 15-year-old female inside a vehicle at the Jefferson Valley Mall parking lot last Wednesday night and was arrested for the charges the following afternoon. Police arrived at the scene after a call was made on an assault complaint.

- The owner of Wild Fusion, located on Route 6 in Mohegan Lake, was placed under arrest on June 12 for creating unnecessary noise with is a violation of the Yorktown Town Code. Li Xiao was arrested following the conclusion of the police investigation after several town residents complained about loud music coming from the establishment close to 2 a.m. He was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 12.
- An Oyster Bay resident was arrested on the charge of criminal contempt. Frederick A. Grant, allegedly communicated with an individual, which violated a duly served Yorktown Justice Court Order of Protection, which was investigated by Yorktown Police on June 6. Grant was incarcerated at the Westchester County Jail for an unrelated charge, where he was later placed under arrest by Yorktown Police on June 30. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 7.
