Yorktown Man Charged With DWI In Route 22 Stop

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Yorktown man with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Sunday, Nov. 16, officials said.

Troopers from the Brewster barrack stopped to check the welfare of Robert Decourcey, 42, whose vehicle was stopped on Route 22 in Southeast and suspected he was intoxicated, police said. 

A breath test yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. Decourcey is scheduled to appear in Southeast Town Court on Thursday, Dec. 4, police said.
