YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Yorktown police are searching for a person who was interrupted while trying to burglarize a Yorktown home Friday morning.
Police said a resident found someone in their basement trying to steal scrap metal, who then fled the scene immediately after realizing that someone was on to them. Police had no description of the individual, but did say they were searching for the person who may have left the scene in a brown Chevrolet Blazer.
