The facility on Underhill Avenue for recovering alcoholics and substance abuse addicts would house approximately 14 people for 30-60 days at a time. According to the report, Grace told Councilmen Terrence Murphy, Vishnu Patel and Councilwoman Susan Siegel he would not use $250,000 of the town’s funds to legally fight in court the denial of the permit for the home.
Siegel stated there are various “deficiencies and inconsistencies” in the submission materials about the home that justify a permit denial according to the report.
