Yorktown To Elect Supervisor, Town Board Tuesday

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Five seats in Yorktown's local government and two on the county level will be decided by voters Tuesday.

For the position of town supervisor, Yorktown voters have the opportunity to choose between incumbent Supervisor Susan Siegel (C, Yorktown Better Government), former supervisor Don Peters (D), or former town attorney Michael Grace (R).

For the town board, two positions are open for which both incumbents are seeking reelection. Current town board members Nick Bianco (R,C) and Jim Martorano (D, WF)) are being challenged by Dave Paganelli (R,C) and Rich Campanaro (D). Ed Ciffone is running as a write-in candidate.

Town Clerk Alice Roker is running unopposed for her position.

Incumbent Town Justice Ilan Gilbert (D) is also running for reelection against Gary Raniolo (R,C,I).

Yorktown residents in Districts 1 and 4 will also have the opportunity to vote for a county legislator. The District 4 race is between town board member Terrence Murphy (R,I) and incumbent Legislator Mike Kaplowitz (D). The District 1 race is between incumbent John Testa (R) and Michael Kane (D).
