YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Town Supervisor Michael Grace rescinded the state of emergency in the town of Yorktown as of 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The decision to lift the state of emergency was in consultation with the chief of police and highway superintendent. While the roads are passable, they are still dangerous with ice and snow in some areas.
Grace advises residents to use caution while driving on the roads.
