Calvin E. Weber, P.E., 84, Of Shrub Oak

SHRUB OAK, N.Y. - Calvin E. Weber, P.E., of Shrub Oak died July 8. He was 84.

Weber was born in Hackensack, N.J., to Edward and Anna Weber. He graduated from Hackensack High School, earned an AA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a BS degree from Rutgers University, and an MS from New York University. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves with active duty during the Korean Conflict. He served as deacon and elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown. He worked as a professional engineer for Westchester County for 34 years. He was past president of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, Area 3 Vice-President for the National Professional Engineer's Society. He was a retired deputy commissioner of Westchester County Department of Public Works.

Weber is survived by his son, Stuart (Joanne), daughters, Valerie Dunham (Bill), Gail Ellspermann (Steve), and Leslie Fanti; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Cutter (Harry); brother, George Weber (Joan); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Katherine.

Calling hours are Friday, July 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
