Dante Nicholas DiRoma, 92, Of Yorktwn Heights

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Dante Nicholas DiRoma, 92, of Yorktown Heights, passed away Thursday Oct. 20, 2016. 

DiRoma was born July 27, 1924, in the Bronx, the son of the late John and Emilia (Corbi) DiRoma. 

He was a disabled military veteran of World War II and was attached to the U.S. Army Air Corp as a sergeant in North Africa. 

He then graduated with a B.S. in marketing from Iona College. 

DiRoma was a retired marketing executive with DLX Corp in Brooklyn. He also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. 

He is survived by his wife Leona (Coletti); two sons, Paul (Patrice) and Peter; brother, Richard; and two grandchildren, Gregory and Christina. 

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining. A funeral Mass will be celebrated  at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine’s Church, 381 N. Highland Ave., Ossining. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans or the American Cancer Society.
