YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Denise Valentine, of Yorktown Heights, died on Aug. 6. She was 64.
Valentine was born in New York City on Aug. 11, 1950, to Raleigh and Barbara Valentine.
She graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers and the College of Mount St. Vincent, earning bachelor of arts and master's degrees in education degrees.
Valentine was a special needs and a physical education teacher.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara, and three brothers, Raleigh Jr., Ronald and his wife, Phyllis, and Robert.

There will be a memorial service at Yorktown Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m.
