YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Frank DiBartolo Sr. 91, of Yorktown Heights, died Oct. 19.
He was born Oct. 14, 1924, to Gaetano and Gaetana DiBartolo in Sicily, Italy.
On Nov. 14, 1948, he married Catherine Guizzetti.
He is survived by Catherine, his wife of 67 years, and sons Mark (Sally) and Eric (Elizabeth). He also is survived by his grandchildren, Frank, Nicholas, Megan and Cali.
He was predeceased by his son Frank Jr.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was wounded in 1944 and received The Purple Heart.
Family and friends will honor his life from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Yorktown Funeral Home, 945 E. Main St. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1377 E. Main St, Shrub Oak. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
