YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Frederick J. Collett of Yorktown Heights died on Sunday, Nov. 11, his 64th birthday.
Born in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of Frederick and Carol Collett. He married JoAnn DeLuca on April 30, 1977. Collett was an assistant professor at Mercy College for the last 15 years.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Patty; a son, Paul; four brothers, Chris, Tom, Frank and Kevin; and a sister, Mary Collett.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Yorktown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s New Church in Yorktown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Catholic Relief Services.
