Gordineer was born Jan. 4, 1936, daughter of Douglas and Barbara (Johnston) Tompkins. She formerly worked at the U.S. Post Office in Mohegan Lake and Readers’ Digest in Pleasantville for many years; and for the past 20-years has worked as secretary for the Mohegan Fire District.
Gordineer is survived by her husband, Robert Gordineer; son, Robert (Marianne) Gordineer, Jr.; daughter, Susan See; five grandchildren; sister, Patricia O’Dell; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and son-in law, David See.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28 followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Lake Mohegan Paid Professional Firefighters, Local 2956 or the Mohegan Vol. Ambulance Corp, 1975 E. Main St., Mohegan Lake, NY 10547.
