YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. - Hedwig M. Reichert, a 54-year resident of Yorktown Heights, died Dec. 23. She was 87.
Reichert was born April 4, 1926, in Sulzheim, Germany, to George and Elizabeth Heim. She worked as a partner for the family owned construction business Wotan Building Corp., until her retirement in 1989. Locally, she was a member of the Steuben Society.
Reichert is survived by her daughter, Anita of Rochester, Minn.; and son, Bernard of Stockton, N.J. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Sunday, Dec. 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30 at the Old St. Patrick's Stone Church in Yorktown Heights. Interment will follow at Amawalk Hill Cemetery in Amawalk.
