HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. - Irene M. Farrisi, of Hopewell Junction and formerly of Garrison, Yorktown Heights and Yonkers, died May 13, 2013. She was 85.
Farrisi was employed as a secretary and customer service representative for Kemet Electronics in Elmsford.
Farrisi is survived by daughter, Christine Farrisi, companion, Jerry Rocco; lifetime friend, Lynn Leone; sisters-in-law, Georgette Pollard and Deborah Farrisi; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Melville P. Farrisi.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Jct. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17 at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Jct. followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
