YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y.. – James J. Carney, of Yorktown Heights, died on Wednesday, Aug. 19. He was 90.
Carney was born to James M. and Elizabeth (Whitney) Carney in New York City.
He served in the Army was was stationed at Germany and Austria.
He retired from the New York State court system.
Carney is survived by his wife Mary ( Mannion); three children Deborah Fallon and her husband Tom, James T. and his wife Judith, and Anne, and granddaughter Elizabeth and her partner Deborah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1377 E. Main St. in Shrub Oak.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
