YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. - Jeanne Sickenius of Yorktown Heights died Dec. 9. She was 85.
Sickenius was born Aug. 17, 1929, to Florence and Reginald Staker. She was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Sickenius is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter, Regina Bello (Robert); sons, Michael Sickenius (Rose), Lou Sickenius (Laura) and John Sickenius (Penny); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Shrub Oak.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Sickenius to the American Cancer Society or a simple act of kindness as she demonstrated throughout her life.
