Madye Jackson, 87, Worked At Marrs Nursing Home In Mohegan Lake

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Madye Jackson, a longtime Peekskill resident, died Dec. 18. She was 87.

Jackson was born April 6, 1947, in Inman, S.C., to William McKenzie and Aley Thompson McKenzie. She has been a longtime member of Mt. Olivet Baptist. She worked for many years at the Marrs Nursing Home in Mohegan Lake.

Jackson is survived by her children, John W. Jackson, 3rd, Gail Jackson, June Kersey, Crystal Moss; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, John W. Jackson, Jr.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Rev. G. Franklin Wiggins Plz., Peekskill, followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
