YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Michael Fitzell, of Yorktown Heights, died on Sunday, June 7. He was 48.
Fitzell was born to Ann and Vincent Fitzell. He attended Yorktown High School and St. Bonaventure University and earning two master's degrees at McNeese University.
He most recently worked at Phelps Hospital Center and was an adjunct professor at Fordham University.
Fitzell is survived by his parents; two brothers, Brian and his wife, Joann, and Sean and his wife, Monica; and his friend Carmen Mera.
Visitation will be at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
